German-born pianist Andreas Klein is internationally acclaimed as a luminous and captivating artist and an introspective and poetic performer. The New York Times summed it up: "A fascinating artist with all the indispensable qualities: temperament, taste, touch, tone, the four T's of pianism."

To celebrate the 250th Mozart Anniversary in 2006, Andreas Klein and the Salzburg Chamber Soloists performed in 20 cities appearing in the prestigious Newman Center in Denver, where the concert was filmed for a later 12-time broadcast, the Krannert Center, Stanford, Tuckeman Hall, Sala Nexahualcóyotl and the Teatro Historico in Mexico City, where they openend the Music Festival, Porter Center, O'Keefe Gallery in Palm Beach... concert venues coast to coast to KV 514.

Two seasons earlier, he captured audiences and received highest accolades for his crystalline Mozart interpretations as soloist with the world renowned Lucerne Festival Strings. They appeared in ten U.S. cities including some of the foremost venues such as the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, Kennedy Center in Washington DC, Spivey Hall in Atlanta, the Wortham Center in Houston and Mechanics Hall near Boston. These concerti were broadcast on NPR's "Performance Today" and WGBH Boston.

Andreas Klein's career as soloist has taken him to numerous of the world's most prestigious venues: London's Wigmore Hall, Berlin's Philharmonic Hall, New York's Carnegie Hall and Alice Tully Hall, the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, Philadelphia's Kimmel Center, Houston's prestigious Wortham Center, Mechanics Hall by Boston, and to Berlin, Rome, Milan, Bern, Leipzig and Dresden, Damascus, and Yerevan. He has toured Europe, Russia, the Middle East and throughout the U.S. appearing in major music centers in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington DC, Cleveland, Houston, and Seattle to name a few.

In his native country Germany, a "Musician's Portrait" was filmed for ORB TV in conjunction with a concert at the Neuhardenberg Castle by Berlin. The Tagesspiegel wrote on his triumphant performance with the world renowned Berlin Philharmoniker playing Mozart's Concerto KV 459: "humorous flamboyancy and impeccable technique, grace, melodious sound and plenty of brilliance." Other orchestras in Berlin included the Berlin Symphony and Radio Orchestras. He premiered and recorded the Mendelssohn Concerto in A minor with the Stuttgart Radio Symphony. His performance of the late Beethoven Sonatas in Dresden, Liszt's Totentanz and Frank's Symphonic Variations with the Halle Orchestra was broadcast nationwide by MDR Radio.

His recent appearances with American orchestras included the Evansville Symphony, the Knoxville, Missouri and Green Bay Symphonies, performing three of his signature pieces, Beethoven Concerto Nos.3 and 5 and the Schumann Concerto. He was also featured with the Atlantic Classical Orchestra, the West Virginia, Wheeling and Huntington Symphonies, the Springfield Symphony, the orchestras in Billings, Bozeman, Missoula, and Great Falls, and the Oregon Mozart Players and the Salem Chamber Orchestra in Portland and Eugene. After a thrilling performance of Beethoven's Second Piano Concerto with the Oregon Mozart Players in Eugene, conductor Andrew Massey invited Andreas Klein immediately back to perform Mozarts Concerto No.27. He gave recitals in Los Angeles, and for the sixth season he appeared in Washington, DC (three times at the Kennedy Center). The concerts with the C.Ph.E. Bach Chamber Orchestra in Frankfurt, the Norddeutsche Philharmonie, Halle Symphony and his recitals in Dresden, Berlin and in castles throughout Germany received enthusiastic reviews by the critics.

Andreas Klein is heard frequently on National Public Radio's "Performance Today", on numerous syndicated and local radio programs including three times as featured guest live on WGBH Boston and KUHF Houston. To attract and introduce television audiences to classical music, he created a series of short works by composers such as Chopin, Debussy and Stravinsky called Intermezzo with Andreas Klein, which was seen on PBS television stations nationwide.

Andreas Klein has recorded for the Eroica and Apollo labels. His CD recording Dancing Through Time was featured on "The Piano Bench" at KUHF Radio, Houston. He has recorded seldom performed works by Busoni, Ginastera and Stravinsky for the discography libraries of the Deutschland Sender and DS Kultur Radio, Berlin, and he can be heard with a variety of composers on PianoDisk CDs.

In addition to his concert career he is active as a record producer for symphonies, choirs, chamber ensembles, festivals and soloists. He selects concert grand pianos for institutions. He also gives master classes.

He is a graduate of the Juilliard School and complemented his studies with the legendary Claudio Arrau and Nikita Magaloff. Copies of his dissertation on the Chopin Etudes are in the libraries of the Chopin Societies in Vienna and Leipzig.
